How to transfer video to an Apple Macintosh computer using Hard Disk Drive camcorder?

First of all let me give you the direct link in apples’s troubleshooter link; http://www.apple.com/support/imovie/.This article is about HDD camcorders and how to easily transfer videos in your computer. Just follow the steps wisely.

Turn on the computer.
Make sure the camcorder is turned off.
Connect the camcorder to the computer using the supplied USB cable.
Plug the AC power adapter into an electrical wall outlet and then connect it to the camcorder.
Open the LCD screen on the camcorder.
Turn on the camcorder.
The USB SELECT screen will be displayed on the LCD; touch the HDD or COMPUTER icon.
After the computer recognizes the connection, it will list the camcorder hard drive as NO NAME on the computer desktop.
Click the NO NAME icon on the computer desktop and then locate the video clips.
On the keyboard, press and hold the Shift key.
While holding the shift key, click to select the video clip files you want to transfer.
Release the Shift key.
On the keyboard, press Command+C to copy the files.
Open the folder or directory on the computer where you want to copy the video.
On the keyboard, press Command+V to paste the files into the desired location.

Take note that Movie player applications must support MPEG-2 playback (or AVCHD for camcorders that record high-definition video) to open and play these files properly.
Refer to the software manufacturer for additional information and any available updates.
